WEAVING PUBLIC LIFE

The piazza is the part of the public space of a town or city where a variety of private or public activities and events take place. The character or ambiance of the piazza is not so much about the physical elements and objects that define it but rather about the interweaving of human actions taking place.

Aim of the project is the creation of a canvas to host and express the variety and continuity of public life. Like the threads that make up a piece of fabric al the areas of the piazza, sitting areas, passages, event areas and green areas are weaving together, merging boundaries in a unified fabric.
